I'll help you understand yourself
and reclaim your own life.
My work is to accompany another person on the path to a deeper understanding of themselves. I believe that behind every symptom, every fear, every difficult relationship there is a story that wants to be heard.
I work in person in Świdnik and Lublin, and online — for those who find that form of contact more convenient. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist working individually with adult patients, accompanying them as they discover and understand the deeper layers of their experience.
Therapy is preceded by a series of consultations — typically three to five sessions. This is a crucial time when we look at the patient's life history, the relationships they create, and the way they perceive themselves and others. It allows for a thorough psychodynamic diagnosis. The diagnosis is a living process — it can be updated during therapy as defence mechanisms loosen and new facts and emotions surface.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are based on free conversation. As a therapist, I am guided by the principle of complete impartiality. I do not impose my own views; I respect the value system, beliefs and religion of my patients. My goal is not to judge choices but to understand their sources.
Everything we discuss in the office is covered by strict professional confidentiality. The only exceptions are situations defined by law — threat to life or health — and court orders.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is based on the assumption that our behaviours, emotions and difficulties have their source in deeper, often unconscious psychological processes — like an iceberg, most of which is hidden beneath the water.
Unlike approaches that focus solely on modifying current behaviours, in my office we go a step further. We do not merely soothe symptoms — we look together for their cause. This is work on what is unconscious — on mechanisms that, though invisible, really steer your life, choices and sense of happiness.
In the safe space of the therapy room, we explore together what lies beneath the surface — unconscious conflicts, recurring relational patterns, defence mechanisms, and unmet emotional needs.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a long-term process — depending on need it lasts from several months to several years. It is a demanding journey, full of turns, of rises and falls. Sometimes, in order for things to get better, we must first pass through what is difficult. Moments of crisis or natural resistance to change can arise as painful truths surface; thanks to a sincere and authentic relationship with the therapist, they can be safely lived through.
A central pillar of my work is the use of the therapeutic relationship itself. Each of us brings into contact with another person an internal pattern of relating, shaped in the past. During sessions patients often unconsciously re-enact it. Looking at these processes together "here and now" allows you to recover agency in shaping the present and in building healthy, satisfying bonds.
The safety of the patient is my priority, which is why my work is regularly supervised by certified specialists of the Polish Society of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Supervision guarantees that the therapeutic process is constantly monitored — both clinically and ethically.
